About the artist

Lucie Bilodeau was born in May of 1967 in Montreal, Canada.  Her interest in art started at a young age, and at 14, she became a student of School in Montreal, Canada, where she was taught traditional fine art skills.  There she took a series of 5 courses, among these was an in depth study of the masters (Rembrandt, Monet, Manet, Cezanne and Fantin Latour).

Bilodeau has distinguished herself by competing for 6 years in the Cercle des Artistes Peintres du Quebec National visual art competitions.  Her works can be found in private collections around the globe, including England, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, United States and Canada. Bilodeau is the recipient of 2 awards from The International Art Exhibition, organized by the International Art Guild.  She was also involved in founding the Joy Gallery in Key West, Florida in 1992.
